The Story

The admissions process to Nursing school can be extremely selective, placing nearly all the emphasis on academic performance. In order to grow the WA nursing workforce, Premera worked with local institutions to create the “Holistic Admissions” process. The curriculum would allow candidates with diverse life experiences to rise.

Our Role

Premera assembled a coalition tasked with creating a PSA targeted to potential nursing students. Ronnie Hamilton served as creative council for the coalition, creating the initial treatment for the campaign and working with the production team to create it.

The [heroes]

Hero recognizes hero. Easily the most rewarding part of this project was meeting the (3) heroes. These were future nurses whom other programs had previously rejected. They defied the odds, leveraging their real-life experience against outdated test scoring to graduate and become licensed RNs.
