The Story
Hellbender Provisions was a conceptual product line created for an outdoor food startup, Tippins Foods, based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Our role was to create speculative (or ‘conceptual’) brand identities, in order to present to key stakeholders. The name Hellbenders is a namesake to the large (and endangered) salamander, native to PA.
Fresh, funky branding
With a name like Hellbender, you lean into it all. Our goal with this brand was to fresh, vibrant, and stand out when browsing retail displays. The name Hellbender refers to the giant, rare salamander native to Pennsylvania clearwater streams.
What the hell are hellbenders?
